Aamir Khan Productions has officially locked 1 May 2026 as the theatrical release date for its upcoming romantic drama starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. The film, now confirmed to release under the title Ek Din, is gearing up for a prominent summer debut during the May Day holiday weekend.
The project has already generated strong buzz, particularly as it brings together Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi for the first time — marking Sai Pallavi’s Hindi cinema debut.Interestingly, the film’s title has seen a change during its journey. Initially announced as Ek Din, the makers later renamed it Mere Raho. However, as the release plans firmed up, the team decided to return to the original title.
Industry observers suggest the decision was made to maintain clarity and recall as the film prepares for its nationwide theatrical rollout A teaser of the film, running for approximately 1 minute and 11 seconds, has recently received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The teaser is currently being screened alongside the theatrical prints of Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, another Aamir Khan Productions venture releasing this week.
